Julho foi um estranho mês de verão pois quase não tivemos verão. Os fortes calores continuaram na Europa continental. A Espanha teve o mês de julho mais quente dos últimos 30 anos. Mas aqui foram dias de outono em pleno verão.
Veja abaixo algumas das temperaturas que tivemos no período da manhã:

July was an odd summer month because we barely had any summer. The strong heat continued on the continental Europe. Spain had the warmest July of the last 30 years. But here we had autumn days within summer.

Além disso a chuva foi constante. Segundo os jornais choveu o dobro da média para época do ano. É aquele chove e pára constante. E para arrematar este clima tão adverso os ventos sempre são fortes. Com um tempo tão adverso fica difícil fazer programas para passeios principalmente ao ar livre. Mas a gente acaba saindo mesmo assim. Afinal o clima na Irlanda é instável mesmo.

And apart of this, rain was been very frequent. According to newspapers, it rained the double  of the average for this time of the year. It is that constant rain - stop - rain again. And to finish up this so adverse weather, winds were very strong. With such an unfavorable weather, it get difficult to schedule day trips, mainly outdoors. But we end up going anyway. After all, Ireland's weather is really unstable.

No começo do mês fomos ao Mozart to Morricone, concerto na Prefeitura de Cork de música clássica usada em trilhas do filmes. Teve até participação de sopranos!

On the beginning of the month, we went to Mozart to Morricone, concert held at Cork's City Hall, featuring classical music used as soundtracks on films. It even had the participation of sopranos!

Em Ringaskiddy Cork Harbour (15 Km da cidade) ocorreu o SeaFest 2015. Onde houve várias atividades relacionadas com o mar,   receitas com peixes, degustações, vídeos e até um simulador de um navio de grande porte, onde pudemos ter acesso à cabine.


In Ringaskiddy Cork Harbour (15 Km from Cork City) took place the SeaFest 2015. There were several activities related to the sea, fish recipes, tastings, videos and even a ship simulator where we had access to the command bridge.

Depois de Dublin foi a vez do Cork acompanhar as atrações do City Spectacular. Um festival onde há diversas apresentações artísticas acontecendo ao mesmo tempo. Como estes artistas: um fazia malabarismos com 5 bolas de futebol ao mesmo tempo. O outro andava num monociclo de 3,5 metros e fazia malabares com uma serra elétrica ligada!

After Dublin it was Cork's turn to follow up City Spectacular attractions. It was a festival with several attractions happening at the same time, such as these street performers: one was juggling 5 soccer balls at the same time. The other was riding a 3.5m unicycle and juggling a real chainsaw - turned on! 

E até o dia 16 de agosto acontece um delicioso musical na Opera House em Cork, o espetáculo Singin in the Rain. Ideal para toda a família, com excelentes números musicais, dança e realmente a chuva ocorre no palco!! Muita chuva! Imperdível.

And up until August 16th it takes place a lovely musical at Cork Opera House, the show Singin in the Rain. 
It is ideal for all the family, with excellent musical and dance performances, and the rain really takes place on the stage! Loads of rain! You can't miss it!

E na última semana de julho ocorreu o The Family Fair at Fitzgerald's Park, onde havia barraquinhas de comidas e música ao vivo. 

And on the last week of July it took place the Family Fair at Fitzgerald's Park, where food stalls and live music were available.
