O FOTA é um grande complexo que é composto por 3 grandes partes. O Resort, onde foi realizado um campeonato de Golf, Irish Open que a gente já mostrou neste post. O Wildlife que é um parque de preservação ambiental e incríveis animais, a gente mostrou alguns deles aqui. E a terceira parte é a FOTA House, Arboretum & Gardens que a gente vai mostrar no post de hoje.
A casa está aberta para visitação durante o verão. E são realizados tours para conhecer o interior. Você terá acesso a muitos ambientes. Desde as salas de estar até as dependências de empregados.

FOTA is a great complex made of 3 parts. The Resort, where an important Golf championship was held - the Irish Open, which we have already shown on this post. The Wildlife is an environmental preservation park with amazing animals, we have shown some of them here. And the third part is the FOTA House, Arboretum & Gardens which we will show on today's post.
The house is open for visitation all summer. Tours are organized to visit the house internally. You will have access to several environments, since the living rooms up to servants quarters.

Esta era uma sala de estar. A curiosidade é que a mesa no fundo da sala também era usada para colocar caixões quando alguém morria.

This was the living room. The funny thing is that the table on the back was also used as a stand for coffins when someone died.

(PORT) Este quarto é o Shamrock. O papel de parede é todo feito com o símbolo irlandês.

(ENG) This room is the shamrock. The wallpaper is all made with the Irish symbol.

Agora vamos conhecer os belíssimos jardins do Fota. Há espécies do mundo todo que os donos foram importando durante os anos, então vão achar plantas e jardins de muitos países. Normalmente há plaquinhas com indicação do nome da planta e o país.
Não é um parque pequeno. Se quiser conhecê-lo com calma vai levar pelo menos 1 hora. Se quiser ir apreciando detalhes e árvores curiosas pode levar tranquilamente uma tarde.

Now we will learn about the beautiful Fota gardens. There are species from all around the world which the owners imported along the years, so you will find plants and gardens from several countries. The is usually a label indicating the name of the plant and the country of origin.
This is not a small park. If you want to visit slow and easy you will take at least 1 hour. If you want the appreciate details and curious trees, you could very easily spend a whole afternoon.
