Nothing more appropriate for this festive time of the year than eating chocolates!
There are two very typical brands on the Irish homes: Roses (from Cadbury) and Street Quality (from Nestle). They are varied bonbons which usually come in tins. On the social network, the Irish are complaining the size of the tins has been decreasing year after year.
So we decided to buy both brands, taste the bonbons and show you everything here on the blog.Quality Street (Nestle)

We decided to buy bonbon boxes once they are enough chocolate for two people already.The box from Quality Street (339g) is purple and comes in 12 different varieties. Let's check them?

This one as it mentions is caramel, but it has a more sticky consistency than the previous.Cada caixa custa em torno de €4.
Achei as duas marcas bastante parecidas mas gostei um pouco mais dos bombons da Quality Street. Mas claro, isso é algo muito pessoal.
Estes chocolates são uma verdadeira tradição na Irlanda mas são de multi nacionais, Cadbury e Nestle.
Mas se quiser um chocolate autenticamente local o da Butler's é delicioso. A gente já falou sobre a marca aqui.

I thought the two brands are very similar, but I liked Quality Street bonbons a little bite more. Burt of course, this is something very personal.
These chocolates are a real tradition in Ireland but they belong to multinational companies - Cadbury and Nestle.
