Glow - A Cork Christmas Celebration

Todos os anos a Prefeitura de Cork prepara as festividades de Natal com o nome de Glow - A Cork Christmas Celebration.

Every year Cork City Hall prepares the Christmas festivities bringing the name Glow - A Cork Christmas Celebration.

As Christmas Markets, claro, não podem faltar!!! São uma tradição antiga aqui na Irlanda, a gente já mostrou várias lá na nossa fan page (para seguir é só clicar aqui).

The Christmas Markets, of course, can't be left out!!! They are an old tradition here in Ireland, we have already shown lods of them on our fan page (to follow, just click here).

Há diversas opções de comidas como hambúrgueres, kebabs, batatas, salsichas, doces. A gente optou por uma deliciosa sopa orgânica de cogumelos.
A feira funciona de sexta a domingo das 10:00 às 20:00 até o dia 20 de dezembro na Grand Parade.

There are several options of food like hamburgers, kebabs, potatoes, sausages, sweets. We decided for a delicious organic soup of mushrooms.

The fair is on from Friday to Sunday, from 10AM to 8PM, up until December 20th on Grand Parade.

A Roda Gigante não pode faltar nas festividades de Natal em Cork. É uma ótima oportunidade de ver a cidade de cima.

The Panoramic Wheel can't be left out of the Christmas festivities in Cork. It is a great opportunity to see the city from above.

O preço é €3 mas se você for em horários onde não há muitas filas vai dar mais voltas na roda gigante que funciona todos os dias (menos no Natal) das 12:00 às 21:00 até o dia 10 de janeiro.
Também há um pequeno carrossel.

The price is €3 but if you go in periods where the queues / lines are not big, you will be able to give many spins on the panoramic wheel, which works everyday (except Christmas) from 12 noon to 9PM up until January 10th.
There is also a small carrousel.

E na praça da Grand Parade, a Bishop Lucey Park, há um pequeno parque temático onde as crianças podem brincar com diversos brinquedos. A entrada é livre e funciona de sexta a domingo da 16:00 às 20:00.

And on Grand Parade square, Bishop Lucey Park, there is a small thematic park where children can play with several toys. Entrance is free and it works from Friday to Sunday, from 4PM to 8PM.
