Chowder é um tipo de sopa cremosa com creme de leite que normalmente se come com frutos de mar, que é o Seafood Chowder e você pode encontrá-la em qualquer restaurante irlandês. São também vendidas prontas nos supermercados para você consumi-la em casa. 


Chowder is a type of creamy soup with buttermilk which is normally eaten with seafood, which becomes the Seafood Chowder and you can find it in any Irish restaurant. They are also sold on supermarkets so you can have it at home.

Lá dentro estão representados os 6 estados de Irlanda do Norte e os 26 da República da Irlanda. São oferecidos pequenos copinhos com os chowders. E você vai marcando numa cédula aqueles que já experimentou.

And the members of the public vote! This makes everything nicer and more interesting. The event takes place at the Actions Hotel. The 6 counties of Northern Ireland and the 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland are all represented there. They all offer small cups with the chowders. And you have a ballot where you register the ones you already tried.

E que tarefa difícil é escolher o melhor! Todos querem o seu voto, então todos capricham muito na receita. Havia todas as variedades que você possa imaginar: com sementes de abóbora, com caviar, com raiz forte! Um festival para o paladar. 
Este ano o vencedor foi o estado de Clare.

It is a difficult task to choose the best one! They all want your vote, so they do a good job on the recipes. There were all the varieties you can imagine: with pumpkin seeds, with caviar, with horseradish! It was a festival for the tasting.
