BARLEY COVE BEACH

E como estamos em pleno verão hoje te levamos para conhecer outra linda praia que fica no condado de Cork (124 km de Cork City e 380 KM de Dublin) no extremo sul da Irlanda.

And once it is summer, today we take you to see another beautiful beach which is on Cork County (124 Km from Cork City, and 380 Km from Dublin) on the far south of Ireland. Check it up on the map:

Pense numa faixa de areia imensa, com natureza por todos os lados e com pouquíssima interferência do homem. Assim é Barley Cove.  Ali há apenas um pequeno hotel que abre na temporada de verão e algumas casas de veraneio ao longe. Não há barraquinhas, vendedores ambulantes nem nada disso. Assim você sente uma incrível sensação de estar realmente curtindo a natureza e o mar em seu estado quase puro.

Think about a huge sand strand, with nature all around, and with very little interference from man. This is Barley Cove.  There is only a small hotel that only opens during summer, and there are some holiday homes on the distance. There are no food stalls, no people selling things. This way you feel an incredible feeling of being really enjoying the nature and the sea in its almost pure state.

Como sabemos o tempo na Irlanda é extremamente instável. E não foi diferente no dia em que a visitamos. Quando saímos de Cork o dia era muito bonito mas ao chegar as nuvens apareceram e começou uma chuvinha leve. Mas não importa, Barley Cove é uma praia lindíssima e que vale a pena conhecer, principalmente no verão.

As we know, the weather in Ireland is extremely unstable. And it was no different the day we visited it. When we left Cork the day was lovely, but when we arrived the clouds showed up, and a light rain started. But it doesn't matter, Barley Cove is a beautiful beach which is worth visiting, mainly during summer.

Se quiser fazer um picnic leve o seu lanche mas lembre-se de jogar todo o lixo em lugares apropriados. Assim você curtirá uma praia linda e deixará para trás apenas boas lembranças e pegadas na areia.

If you want to make a picnic, take your own food, but remember to put away the garbage in appropriate places. This way you will enjoy a beautiful beach and will leave behind only good memories and footprints.
