O fim do mês de setembro e o inicio do outono foram bastante agradáveis. Temperaturas máximas em torno de 15 graus e com pouca chuva. Mas claro, as folhas ocre e amarelas já estão por todos os lados e nos faz lembrar que em breve estaremos com dias frios e cinzentos.

The end of September and the start of the Autumn were very pleasant. Top temperatures were around 15C and with little rain. But of course, the terracotta and yellow leaves are all around and makes us remember that soon we will be with cold and gray days. 

A luminosidade já está muito menor, às 19:00 é praticamente noite. No mês que vem acaba o horário de verão. E ai, os dias ficam drasticamente mais escuros.

Daylight is much lower, by 7PM it is almost evening. Next month daylight savings is over. After that days will become drastically darker.

                        

Fim de dia em Cork / End of day in Cork

Mesmo antes do inicio do outono já nos preparávamos para o inicio da estação com o Autumn Concert Series com o The Vanbrugh Quartet no Triskel Arts Center, no reportório Mozart e Schubert.

Even before the start of Autumn we were already getting prepared for the season with Autumn Concert Series with The Vanbrugh Quartet on Triskel Arts Center, Mozart and Schubert on the lineup.

Midleton é una cidade que fica bem perto de Cork (para conhecer mais clique aqui) e no mês passado teve o Food and Drink Festival, com muitas barraquinhas de alimentos de produtores locais e música!

Midleton is a small town very close to Cork (to learn more about it here) and last month we had the Food and Drink Festival, with many stalls with food from local producers - and music!

Sounds From a Safe Harbour foi um festival muitas apresentações musicais aqui em Cork. Estas aconteceram no The Bodega e no Crane Lane.

Terminamos o mês com o divertido Silent Disco no Coughlands Bar. Onde você recebia headphones profissionais, dois DJs tocavam músicas totalmente diferentes em canais separados e você escolhia aquele que mais gostava.

We finished the month with the amusing Silent Disco 
on Coughlands Bar - where you would get professional headphones, 2 DJs playing totally different music in different channels and you could choose the one you liked the most.

Tudo regado há uma mesa cheia de doces. Como estes que "estouram" na boca.

And there was also a table with many sweets, like these ones that "pop" on your mouth.
