The end of September and the start of the Autumn were very pleasant. Top temperatures were around 15C and with little rain. But of course, the terracotta and yellow leaves are all around and makes us remember that soon we will be with cold and gray days.
Daylight is much lower, by 7PM it is almost evening. Next month daylight savings is over. After that days will become drastically darker.

Even before the start of Autumn we were already getting prepared for the season with Autumn Concert Series with The Vanbrugh Quartet on Triskel Arts Center, Mozart and Schubert on the lineup.
Midleton is a small town very close to Cork (to learn more about it here) and last month we had the Food and Drink Festival, with many stalls with food from local producers - and music!
Sounds From a Safe Harbour was a festival with many musical performances here in Cork. These ones took place at The Bodega and on Crane Lane.
We finished the month with the amusing Silent Disco on Coughlands Bar - where you would get professional headphones, 2 DJs playing totally different music in different channels and you could choose the one you liked the most.
And there was also a table with many sweets, like these ones that "pop" on your mouth.
