No ano passado já fizemos um post sobre filmes de terror irlandeses para você assistir no Halloween e este ano resolvemos fazer um novo texto sobre o assunto.

Last year we already did a post about Irish horror films you could watch on Halloween, and this year we decided to go over this subject again.

Os filmes são co-produções com outros países mas têm profissionais e artistas da Ilha Esmeralda em todas elas.
Todos os filmes citados neste post são aquele de tipo de produção com sérias restrições orçamentárias. Não espere grandes efeitos especiais em nenhum deles. Outra coisa, nada de roteiros elaborados, alguns chegam a ser sem sentido. Mas o que vale aqui é passar algumas horas tensas, com aquele medinho que  só os filmes de terror podem dar....hehehe

The films are coproductions with other countries, but bring professionals and artists from the Emerald Island in all of them.
All movies mentioned on this post are the kind of production with serious budget restrictions. Don't wait for big special effects in any of them. And there is something else, no good scripts, some almost don't make sense. But what is worth here is spending a few tense hours, with that bit of a fear only horror films can  bring... hehehe

SPIDERHOLE

Quatro jovens artistas plásticos que não tem um centavo no bolso resolvem ocupar um casarão abandonado para não ter que pagar aluguel. É claro em breve coisas estranhas começam a acontecer e sair de lá vai ser uma difícil tarefa. O filme se passa praticamente inteiro dentro da casa e mantêm a tensão.

Four young plastic artists who don't have a cent on their pockets decide to occupy an abandoned house so they don't need to pay rent. Of course soon weird things start to happen, and getting out will be a difficult task. The film takes place almost entirely within the house, and keeps the tension.

LET US PREY

Já este filme se passa quase inteiramente numa delegacia. Um estranho homem com poderes paranormais é preso e pouco a pouco começa a dominar a mente dos outros presos e dos policiais. Tudo acontece numa única noite.

This film happens almost totally in a police station. A strange man with paranormal powers is arrested and little by little starts to control the minds of other prisoners and policemen. It all happens in a single night.

SHROOMS

Este filme se passa na Irlanda, alguns jovens americanos viajam para a Ilha Esmeralda para acampar e em busca de cogumelos alucinógenos.  Depois que eles consumem os tais cogumelos não se sabe ao certo o que é realidade ou fruto de suas mentalidades dopadas.

This movie takes place in Ireland, some young Americans travel to the Emerald Island to go camping, and to look for hallucinatory mushrooms. After they make use of the such mushrooms it is not known for certain what is reality of fruit of their drugged minds.

FROM THE DARK

Este foi meu preferido dos quatro filmes e talvez o mais absurdo. Se passa no condado de Offaly. 
Um casal viaja pelas verdes paisagens irlandesas quando o carro fica preso num lamaçal. Eles estão no meio do nada e vão procurar ajuda....
A filme inteiro é praticamente um jogo de gato e rato. Onde eles tentam desesperadamente fugir de seres malignos que tem apenas um ponto fraco: a luz. 

This was my favorite out of the four films, and may be the most absurd. It takes place on Offaly county. 
A couple travels by the green Irish landscapes when the cast is stuck in a wallow. They are on the middle of nowhere, and left looking for help....
The whole film is basically a cat and mouse game, where they desperately try to run away from evil beings who have only one weakness: light.

Assistindo estes filmes com certeza você vai ter alguns sustos e calafrios e vai ter um Halloween bastante assustador.

Watching these films will certainly make you have some scares and shudders, and will let you have a very scary Halloween.
