(PORT) Tivemos neste fim de semana a 37a. edição do Guinness Jazz Festival, que mobiliza completamente a cidade durante 4 dias.

(ENG) This weekend we had the 37th edition of the Guinness Jazz Festival, which totally mobilizes the city along 4 days.

(PORT) Ao todo foram mais de 400 apresentações musicais.E não se trata apenas de Jazz! Todo tipo de música pode ser ouvida durante o Festival.

(ENG) In all, there were more than 400 musical presentations. And it is not only Jazz! All kinds of music can be appreciated during the Festival.

Nós começamos indo ao Oliver Plunkett, depois ao Cyprus Avenue e Old Oak.  O trio Wyvern Lingo é incrível e tem tudo para despontar em breve.

We started on Oliver Plunkett, after we went to Cyprus Avenue and Old Oak. The trio Wyvern Lingo is amazing and has everything to hit a great success soon.

No dia seguinte conferimos o clássico jazz apresentado no hotel que viu nascer o Festival, o Gresham Metropole e não faltou dança no Ballroom.

On the following day, we checked the classic jazz performed on the hotel where the Festival originated, the Gresham Metropole, and there was even some dance on the Ballroom.

No Triskel Christchurch Arts events este incrível quarteto de cordas tocou até música da Transilvânia.
No Woodford  Pub, a divertida banda da Holanda chamada Busquitos. 
Na Grand Parade teve esta banda completa que tocava um repertório variado.
Mesmo os Pubs mais intimistas como o Barbarossa tinha uma completa programação durante o festival.
No Clarion Hotel a música foi das melhores! E teve até Bossa Nova.
No domingo fomos  ao show de Ryan Sheridan, no Savoy Club and Venue. Incrível! O Welcome to Ireland já fez um post sobre Ryan aqui.

On Triskel Christchurch Arts Events this amazing string quartet played even music from Transylvania.

On Woodford  Pub, the entertaining Dutch band called Busquitos. 

On Grand Parade there was this full band which played an assorted repertoire.
Even more intimate Pubs like the Barbarossa had a full agenda during the Festival.
On Clarion Hotel the music was one of the best! And we even had Bossa Nova.
On Sunday we went to Ryan Sheridan's show, at Savoy Club and Venue. Amazing! Welcome to Ireland has already made a post on Ryan here. 

Muitas apresentações de bandas acontecem nas ruas.
E são tão boas quanto as que ocorrem em Pubs e hotéis. Para encontrá-las é só andar pelas ruas centrais da cidade. 
E para fazer um lanche não faltaram as barraquinhas com comida típica.

Many band performances take place on the streets. And they are as good as the ones in pubs and hotels. 
To find them you just have to walk by the city's central streets.
And to have a snack, you will not miss the stalls with typical food.
