Creme Egg - O Ovo Preferido
We are on the Easter week! And chocolates are all over the place. There is one particular egg that is a real Irish passion (and also in other countries), Cadbury's Creme Egg.

You find loads and loads of this sweet everywhere, and in several sizes, since the mini up to those of half Kg. Prices also vary from some cents up to 10 Euro, which is the price for the 500g egg.The Creme Egg comes wrapped in metalic paper, it bring a chocolate layer and fondant type cream on the white and yellow colors to simulate the inner side of a regular egg (yolk and white).
Flavor is very sweet, I don't see nothing special on it. But of course this is not the opinion of most Irish, who love this egg. This year Cadbury opened for a few days in Dublin the "Creme de le Creme Egg Cafe" where all kinds of sweets and even drinks were served, having of course the Creme Egg as the inspiration. It was a great success. Have a look at some photos of the place.Too bad it worked only for 5 days during the month of February
