Bushy Park - Dublin
A variedade de parques em Dublin é bem grande, e hoje vamos até o Bushy Park, que fica à margem do Rio Dodder.
The choice of parks in Dublin is quite abundant, and today we go to Bushy Park, which is on the bank of the Dodder River.
Before visiting the park you can take the trail along the river. It is very pleasant, and you have the feeling of being almost in a closed forest, right next to a busy road.
Em 1796, Robert Shaw (parente distante do escritor George Bernard Shaw) comprou o parque e a familia foi dona de todo a área até 1951, quando passou fazer parte dos parques públicos de Dublin.
Bushy Park came into existance by 1700, when Arthur Bushe built a house there, which became known as Bushe's House. In 1772, already in the hands of another owner, and it started to be called Bushy Park, name of another park in London.

There are several spaces for practicing sports. The singer Justin Bieber came by and played some basketball last month when he was in Ireland. Click here to check.
There is also the Petanque Club, a type of sport very similar to Bocce.
There is a large pond, the Duck Pond, and lots of space for walks. It is also the ideal place to take your dog.
This little playground will please the little ones!
I advise you to go on a Saturday, because that day you can enjoy The Terenure Village Market, a small fair with different types of food, organic products and crafts. We had coffee, bought sweet potato fries, pizza, organic cheeses and ice cream. All delicious.
