Mas antes disso, vamos falar sobre o escritor irlandês Bram Stoker que escreveu o grande clássico da literatura mundial Drácula. A partir dele ficou imortalizada a figura do vampiro que conhecemos hoje em dia.

But before this, let's talk about the Irish writer Bram Stoker, who wrote the great world literature classic, Dracula. From his work the vampire figure as we know today became immortalized.

Antes de escrever o livro, Stoker pesquisou profundamente o folclore europeu e antigas histórias de vampiros. Entretanto jamais esteve na Romênia, lugar onde se passa parte do livro.

Não sei se você já leu a obra, que é envolvente e pode ser lida em poucas horas, vale a pena.

Before writing the book, Stoker deeply investigated the European folklore and old vampire stories. But he had never been to Romania, region where part of the book takes place.

I don't know if you ever read the book, which is engaging and can be read in a few hours, it is really worth.

And now going back to Castle Dracula!

A princípio achamos um pouco estranho o lugar onde fica a atração. Uma moderna academia de ginástica! Esperamos nos sofás no hall de entrada da academia.

Todo o público é levado para dentro da academia. 

Depois todos somos acomodados em um longo corredor. O ambiente de ginástica foi deixado atrás. Agora estamos num lugar escuro, com fotos assustadoras e música intimidante. Ninguém sabe o que nos espera. De repente um prisioneiro segurando uma vela se aproxima........

In the beginning we though it was a bit strange the place where the attraction is located. It is a modern gym! We waited on the couches at the gym's entrance hall.

All the public is taken to the gym's interior. We are then accomodated in a long corridor. The gym environment is left behind. Now we are in a dark place, with scary pictures and intimidating music. No one knows what what happens next. Then a prisioner holding a candle gets closer...

A partir dai você passará por diversas salas, todas fantasmagóricas. Alguns trechos do livro Drácula são abordados, Entram em cena também outros personagens  como um açougueiro sanguinário. O público é convidado a participar em diversas partes do espetáculo....fui convidada pelo próprio Conde Drácula para participar......convite este que foi gentilmente declinado... HAHAHA.

Depois de muitos sustos e risadas chegamos a uma grande sala. Ali há um "Dracula Bar", afinal estamos na  Irlanda! E podem ser feitas algumas fotos que você vê neste post.

From here you will go through several rooms, all very ghostly like. Some parts of the book Dracula are approached. Other characters also take part, like the bloody butcher. The public is invited to join in several parts of the show... I was invited by Count Dracula himself to participate... invitation I politely declined ... HAHAHA.

After a few scares and laughs, we get to a big room. There you have a "Dracula Bar", after all we are in Ireland! And pictures can be taken like the ones you see on this post.

A seguir começa um show de mágica, agora é a vez do Alex participar!

A atração termina com muitas risadas e um "abraço" do açougueiro sanguinário. E uma delicada frase "I Hate You, too".

Then a magic show starts, now it is Alex turn to participate!

The attraction finishes with many laughs and a "hug" from the bloody butcher. And a delicate sentence "I Hate You, too",

Ao sair nos divertimos muito com o Alex lembrando de alguns trechos e sustos. Lá fora havia uma densa névoa! E Drácula, como sabemos,  pode se transformar em diversas coisas: em lobo, morcego, claro, névoa!

As we left we had loads of fun with Alex, remembering some parts of the show, and also scares. Outside there was a dense mist! And Dracula, as we know, can transform himself into several things: wolf, bat - and of course, mist!
