SKYLINE - CROKE PARK - Welcome to Ireland

O Croke Park é o quarto maior estádio da Europa, com capacidade para mais de 82 mil pessoas, e é a sede dos esportes gaélicos: o Futebol Gaélico e o Hurling - ambos esportes são uma verdadeira paixão dos irlandeses. Em 2004 passou por uma grande renovação que custou em torno de €260 milhões.

Croke Park is the fourth largest stadium in Europe, with a capacity of more than 82,000 people, and is home to Gaelic sports: Gaelic Football and Hurling - both sports are a real Irish passion. In 2004 it underwent a major renovation that cost around €260 million.

Além de esportes, o espaço é local também de grandes eventos, como o último show de U2 no mês passado. No estádio você pode fazer um tour para conhecê-lo por dentro. E também é possível visitar a parte de cima do estádio, conhecido como Skyline.

In addition to sports, the space is also used to host major events such as the U2 show last month. At the stadium you can take a tour to get see it inside out. And it is also possible to visit the top part of the stadium, known as Skyline.

Se quiser, chegue um pouco antes para fazer um lanche no coffee shop do estádio.

If you wish, arrive a bit earlier to have a snack in the stadium's coffee shop.

Passamos rapidamente pelas arquibancadas e vemos o estádio por dentro, que é lindo e tem um gramado totalmente natural, considerado um dos melhores da Europa. Mas não podemos ficar muito por ali, o topo é o nosso destino.

We quickly pass the stands and see the stadium inside, which is beautiful and has an all natural lawn, considered one of the best in Europe. But we cannot be around for very long, the top is our destination.

O Skyline propriamente dito tem 5 plataformas, em cada uma você pode ler placas que identificam pontos importantes da cidade, e além disso a guia vai contando fatos e curiosidades sobre Dublin.

The Skyline itself has 5 platforms, in each one you can read plaques that identify important points of the city, and in addition the guide goes telling facts and curiosities about Dublin.

E como pode imaginar a vista é incrível. Você vai querer fazer muitas fotos!

And as you can imagine the view is incredible. You will be willing to take lots of pictures!

Na plataforma 5, a gente entra por uma ponte estendida e suspensa em direção ao estádio. A vista é espetacular.

In platform 5, we enter by a bridge that is extended and suspended towards the stadium. The view is spectacular.
