WALKING ON CARS

Walking on Cars é uma banda irlandesa que acaba de lançar seu primeiro CD. 

Walking on Cars is an Irish band that has just released its first CD.

O grupo formado em 2010 é composto por 5 músicos: Patrick Sheehy que é o vocalista e letrista, Sorcha Durham a pianista, Fan Devane é o Guitarrista, Paul Flannery é o baixista e Evan Hadnett o baterista e são do condado de Kerry mais especificamente da encantadora cidade de Dingle. O começo foi o típico de quase toda banda irlandesa, em Pubs e pequenos eventos. 

The group established in 2010 is made of 5 musicians:  Patrick Sheehy is the lead singer and songwriter, Sorcha Durham plays the piano, Fan Devane plays the guitar, Paul Flannery plays the bass and Evan Hadnett plays drums - they are from county Kerry, more specifically from the charming town of Dingle. The beginning was typical of almost all Irish bands, in pubs and small events.

Em "Two Stones" dá para conferir algumas paisagens típicas de Dingle, cidade Natal da banda e o dia-a-dia de pescadores. No video,  ocorre um acidente nas estreitas estradas da região. Nós tínhamos muito medo que isso acontecesse quando conhecemos Dingle. Muitas vezes é quase impossível que dois carros caibam naquelas minúsculas estradas. 

In "Two Stones" it is possible to view some typical landscapes of Dingle, hometown of the band, and the fishermen day-by-day. In the video, an accident occurs on the narrow roads of the region. We were very afraid it would happen to us when we were in Dingle. Many times it is nearly impossible that two cars can fit in those tiny roads.

Walking on Cars is on a tour in Europe, and the next show in Ireland, according to the band website, will be on July 8th, along another great band, Kodaline which we have already spoken about here on Welcome to Ireland.
