WALKING ON CARS

The group established in 2010 is made of 5 musicians: Patrick Sheehy is the lead singer and songwriter, Sorcha Durham plays the piano, Fan Devane plays the guitar, Paul Flannery plays the bass and Evan Hadnett plays drums - they are from county Kerry, more specifically from the charming town of Dingle. The beginning was typical of almost all Irish bands, in pubs and small events.
And in 2012 came the first successful song: "Catch Me If You Can". Besides quality music, Walking On Cars has excellent clips. Check it out:Acompanhe no vídeo algumas imagens de Fungie.
On the following year they made a song for an illustrious character from Dingle, the dolphin Fungie.Check on the video some images from Fungie.
In 2014 came "Hand In Hand". The clip tells a love story which can be interpreted in various ways. What's yours?
In "Always Be With You" the band shows the plasticity of two dancers. The result you can check playing the video below.
In "Two Stones" it is possible to view some typical landscapes of Dingle, hometown of the band, and the fishermen day-by-day. In the video, an accident occurs on the narrow roads of the region. We were very afraid it would happen to us when we were in Dingle. Many times it is nearly impossible that two cars can fit in those tiny roads.
"Tick Tock" is a beautiful song, which will make you remember your childhood!
"Speeding Cars" is one of the most recent hits from Walking on Cars, the video is full of symbologies and incredibly beautiful.
These amazing songs you can check on the album Every Thing This Way which the band released last month.
Walking on Cars is on a tour in Europe, and the next show in Ireland, according to the band website, will be on July 8th, along another great band, Kodaline which we have already spoken about here on Welcome to Ireland.
