Enjoying the Summer

Estamos passando pela maior onda de calor do ano na Irlanda. As temperaturas chegaram alguns dias aos  24 graus. O que para a Irlanda é muita coisa. 

Não se falava em outra coisa nas redes sociais. A gente foi até uma cidade litorânea perto de Dublin e tivemos uma tremenda surpresa. A comida tinha acabado nos restaurantes! Estava todo mundo aproveitando o calor.

E claro que com este tempo a gente vai te dar uma dica para aproveitar a cidade ao ar livre.

Boathouse Cafe é um lugar encantador, que fica do lado da Farmleigh House, casa da Familia Guinness e aberta para visitação.

We are going through the larger heatwave of the year in Ireland. Temperatures were around 24 Celsius in some days - which is a lot for Ireland.

They didn't talk about anything else on the social networks. We even went to a coastal town near Dublin and we had a big surprise. Food had ran out on the restaurants! Everybody was enjoying the heat.

Of course with such weather we will give you a tip to enjoy the city on the outdoors.

Boathouse Cafe is a charming place, which is located next to the Farmleigh House, home of the Guinness family and opened to visitation.

Depois de uma boa caminhada já é hora de dar uma parada no Boathouse Cafe. Há mesas na frente, internas e as melhores, ao redor de um lago com patos e lindas árvores. Me diga se não é o lugar ideal para um relaxante brunch de domingo?

After a good walk, it is time to stop at the Boathouse Cafe. There are tables in front of it, indoors, and the best ones - around a lake with ponds and lovely trees. Tell me if this is not the ideal place for a relaxing Sunday brunch?

Para beber a gente pediu um delicioso Vanilla Iced Latte.

O scone veio com manteiga e geleia como de costume.

To drink we had a delicious Vanilla Iced Latte. The scone came with butter and jelly as usual.

O quiche de presunto e queijo vinha acompanhado com uma salada de folhas verdes e coleslaw.

Tudo muito gostoso e fresquinho.

The ham and cheese quiche came with a green leave salad and coleslaw.

Mas há muitas outras opções como Fish & Chips, saladas, sanduiches, wraps, sobremesas e até sorvete.

Outro lugar delicioso para aproveitar o parque num dia de sol e calor é este no Phoenix Park.

But there are many options like Fish & Chips, salads, sandwiches, wraps, desserts an even ice-creams.

Another lovely place to enjoy the park on a sunny and warm day is this one on Phoenix Park.
