O Zoológico de Dublin é a terceira atração turística mais visitada de toda a Irlanda ficando atrás apenas da Guinness Storehouse e dos Cliffs of Moher.

Dublin Zoo is the third most visited touristic attraction in all Ireland, only behind Guinness Storehouse and Cliffs of Moher.

O Zoo de Dublin foi criado por Sir Philip Crampton em 1831 com o intuito de conscientizar as pessoas com relação aos cuidados que devemos ter com os animais e diminuir a crueldade animal.
Cada espécie vive num habitat quase idêntico ao seu habitat natural. Além disso há muito espaço para eles viverem tranquilamente.
Veja por exemplo o caso dos leões.

Dublin Zoo was created by Sir Philip Crampton in 1831 with the intention of bring awareness to the people in relation to the care we should have with animals and lower the animal cruelty.
Each specie lives in an almost identical habitat to their natural one. Besides, there are loads of space for them to leave peacefully.
Have a look at the lions, for instance.

Bom, o melhor jeito de conhecer o Zoo é pegar um mapa na entrada e ir seguindo as indicações. Há bastante informação sobre os bichos em placas indicativas também.

Well, the best way to visit the zoo is getting a map on the entrance and follow the signs. There is a lot of information about the animals in indicative signs as well.

Já no começo do parque vai ver as macacadas de divertidos macacos de pequeno porte.

On the beginning of the park you will already see small monkeys playing around.

Alguns animais não são muito queridos pelo grande público como as morcegos! E lá aprendemos que o principal alimento deles são as frutas. Alguns deles estavam comendo cítricos.

Some animals are not much loved by the public, like the bats! We learned there their main type of food are fruits. Some of them were eating citrics.

Na Family Farm há animais típicos de fazenda e as crianças se divertem muito.

At the Family Farm there are typical animals from farms, and children have loads of fun.

Estes répteis parecem ameaçadores pois é possível vê-los bem de perto.

These reptiles look very threatening because we can see them from very close.

Os animais de grande porte são os que mais chamam a atenção como os elefantes, tigres, zebras, rinocerontes e girafas.

The big size animals are the ones that get most of the attention, like elephants, tigers, zebras, rhinos and giraffes,

Sea animals and flamingos.

Estes são apenas alguns dos animais que você irá encontrar por lá!! Então vá com muita memória na sua câmera fotográfica.
Lá vai encontrar também lanchonetes, restaurante, área de pic nic, loja de souvenirs e, claro, banheiros.
