Where is the Summer?

 Em maio ficamos muito entusiasmados esperando a chegada do verão pois ao fim da primavera tínhamos tido dias incríveis de sol.

In May we were very excited waiting for the arrival of Summer because by the end of Spring we had had amazing days of sun.

Mas o mês de junho foi bastante decepcionante. As temperaturas ficaram mais baixas e o que é pior, dias muito nublados e com chuva. Normalmente eram aquelas chuvas curtas. Mas durante tudo o dia. Aquele pára e chove que em nada lembra a dias de verão.

Mas tudo bem! A Irlanda não é conhecida pela seu tempo estável, como bem sabemos e não é por isso que deixamos de aproveitar esta fantástica ilha.

Como sempre falamos por aqui, atualizamos as nossas redes sociais diariamente.

But the month of June was very disappointing. Temperatures were much lower, and what is even worse, very cloudy and rainy days. They were usually those short lenght rains. But along the whole day. We had that stop and go rain that would hardly ever remind of Summer days.

But is is alright. Ireland is not known by its stable weather, as we well know, and it is not this that will stop us of enjoying this fantastic island.

As we always say around here, we update our social networks on a daily basis.

Colourful doors of Dublin

Lá mostramos onde comer pizza de graça em Dublin e onde comer um delicioso sorvete italiano por apenas 1 euro. Mostramos também como foi o Bloom, grande feira sobre jardinagem que ocorreu no inicio de mês, e que não se resume apenas a jardinagem. Há de tudo por lá. 

We showed there where to eat free pizza in Dublin, and where to have a delicious Italian icecream for only €1. We also showed how the Bloom was, big gardening fair that happened on the beginning of the month, which was not only gardening. They had everything there.

Quem acompanhou as nossas redes sociais viu também  o Dublin Port River Fest, Bloomsday Festival e o Taste of Dublin. 

Também se divertiu com um vídeo ouvindo os diferentes sotaques falados na Irlanda e um vídeo de um grupo de humoristas irlandeses que parodiou um estudante tentando estudar para os exames do Leaving Certificate.

Those following our socal networks more closely also saw Dublin Port River Fest, Bloomsday Festival and the Taste of Dublin. 

They also had fun with a video listening to different accents spoken in Ireland and a video from an Irish humour group impersonating a student trying to study for the Leaving Certificate exams.
