Os Feriados na Irlanda

Ontem foi primeiro de maio, Dia do Trabalho (Labour Day ou May Day). Aqui o feriado também é festejado mas será no dia 5 de maio. Na Irlanda, quando um feriado cai no meio da semana ele é transferido para a segunda-feira seguinte. Fora Natal e Ano Novo, os outros feriados funcionam com essa sistemática.

Yesterday it was May 1st, Labout Day (or May Day). Here the holiday is also celebrated, but it will be on May 5th. In Ireland, when a holiday is on the middle of the week, it is transferred for the following Monday. Apart from Christmas and New Year's, all the others follow this rule.

O tempo em abril foi bastante agradável.
The weather in April was very nice.

Chuvas moderadas e alguns dias bem ensolarados. A Semana Santa foi de sol todos os dias e poucas nuvens. As temperaturas também estão mais altas e, às vezes, chegam a uns 13 graus. Já dá para sair com uma jaqueta fininha!! À noite, claro, esfria bastante. Mas os dias estão muito amenos.

Moderated rains, and some very sunny days. The Holy Week was sunny everyday and with little clouds. The temperatures alse also higher, and sometimes, they are reaching 13 Celsius. You can already go out with a light jacket!! In the evening, of course, it gets colder. But the days are pleasant.

Nature and flowers are still pretty and decorating every corner.
