Lançamento do Novo CD do U2 - New U2 CD Release

Nesta semana ocorreu o surpreendente lançamento do novo CD do U2. E foi durante a apresentação do novo iPhone da Apple na Califórnia. E o bombástico de tudo isso é que a partir daquele momento estaria de graça no iTunes!!! Se você não é usuário do iTunes é só se cadastrar e pode baixar também, gratuitamente.

This week happened the surprising release of the new U2 CD. And it was held during the presentation of the new Apple's iPhone in California. And the bombastic news was that from that moment onwards it would be available for free on iTunes!!! If you are not an iTunes user, you just have to register and can also download for free.

A maior banda do rock do mundo estava disponibilizando o seu novo trabalho para todo mundo!! De graça!!! É realmente surpreendente e está causando o maior burburinho. Então se você gosta da banda, vai logo para o iTunes e baixa Songs of Innocence. Esta promoção só vai até outubro.

The world's greatest rock band was making their new work available for everybody!!! For free!!! It is really surprising and it is causing loads of noise. So if you like the band, go very soon to iTunes and download Songs of Innocence. This promotion goes only until October.

Eu já baixei e achei um ótimo retorno às raízes da banda. Não sou crítica de música, apenas fã desta fantástica banda de rock irlandesa,  que é superlativa.

I have already downloaded and I thought it was a great return to the roots of the band. I am not a music critic, just a fan of this fantastic Irish rock band, which is superlative. 

Lembro de ter ido ao show do U2 no Morumbi em São Paulo com a minha querida irmã e foi um grande momento nas nossas vidas. Era lá pelo ano 1998 e ainda hoje lembro  da energia, a experiência, os efeitos especiais de show e ver o Bono ali, pertinho, com todo aquele carisma infinito que ele possui. Foi realmente um marco nas nossas vidas.

I remember having gone to a show from U2 at Morumbi in Sao Paulo with my dear sister, and it was a great moment in our lives. It was around 1998 and I still remember the energy, the experience, the special effects from the show, and seeing Bono there, very close, with all his infinite charisma. It was a remarkable milestone in our lives.

Songs os Innocence tem 48 minutos de duração com 11 músicas. Gostei muito deste trabalho não ter aquelas experiências esquisitas dos CDs anteriores.

Songs os Innocence is 48 minutes long, with 11 songs. I really liked this work not having those weird experiences from the previous CDs.

Em Dublin você pode fazer tours pelos lugares onde os integrantes moraram, trabalharam, etc. Eu ainda não fiz esse passeio mas passei na frente da "Bonavox", loja de aparelhos auditivos.

In Dublin you can make tours by the places where the band members lived, worked, etc. I haven't done this stroll yet, but I was in front of "Bonavox", hearing aid store. 

Segundo o guia que estava conosco nos explicou,  quando a banda começou, fazia bastante barulho na vizinhança na hora dos ensaios, os vizinhos diziam que estavam ficando surdos com tanta música alta e que teriam que ir à Bonavox............. claro que muitas lendas se contam a respeito do U2 na Irlanda mas o nome da loja de fato serviu de inspiração para Bono Vox escolher o seu nome artístico, que até então era apenas Paul Hewson.

According to our guide's explanation, when the band started, it made a lot of noise in the neighborhood at the time they were rehearsing,  the neighbors said they were getting so deaf with all the loud music they would have to go to Bonavox......... of course many stories are told regarding U2 in Ireland, but the name of the store really inspired Bono Vox to chose his artistic name, who until then was just Paul Hewson.

No Natal eles fazem um mini show no centro de Dublin, na rua mesmo. Da forma mais humilde e modesta possível, como os outros milhares de músicos que tocam pelas ruas de Dublin durante o ano o todo.

On Christmas time they make a mini show in Dublin's city centre, on the streets. In  very humble and modest way, as other thousands of musicians who play on the streets of Dublin along the whole year.

Dedico este post à minha irmã, Silvina, que já mencionei neste post e à Simone, cunhada querida que também adora U2. Meninas, que tal vir para a Irlanda no próximo Natal????........hehehe
