Bela Praia Irlandesa / Beautiful Irish Beach

E já que estamos tendo belos dias de sol, temperaturas em torno de 18 graus e que oficialmente é verão na Europa, é um bom momento para falarmos sobre uma belíssima praia chamada Inchydoney Beach, que fica a 58 Km de Cork City e a 310 Km de Dublin.

And once we are having lovely sunny days, temperatures around 18 Celsius and it is officially Summer in Europe, it is a good moment to talk about a stunning beach called  Inchydoney Beach, which is located 58 Km from Cork City, and 310 Km from Dublin.

Aqui você vai encontrar extensas faixas de areia fina para fazer boas caminhadas a beira mar. O que chama a atenção é que se formam piscinas naturais nessas grandes faixas de areia, como você pode ver pelas fotos deste post.
Ao chegar de carro, você já se encontra com um belo SPA.

Here you will find wide stripes of thin sand to do great walks by the sea. What really gets our attention are the natural pools formed on these stripes of sand, as you can see in the photos on this post.
When you arrive by car, you already find a beautiful SPA.

Você estaciona o carro e desce uma longa escada. Lá está uma praia em estado puro!! Nada de altas construções ao redor, apenas natureza!!! Uma deliciosa opção para o fim de semana.

You park the car and go down a long staircase. Down there is a beach in pure condition!!!  Nothing of high buildings around, only the nature!!! A great option for the weekend.

Como a Irlanda não tem verões muito quentes, é comum as pessoas irem com roupa à praia. Mas claro, você pode desfilar com roupa de banho, se quiser.


Once Ireland doesn't have very warm summers, it is common for the people to go to the beach dressed in regular clothing. But of course, you can show off with bathing suits, if you want.

Não há vendedores ambulantes como no Brasil. Apenas poucas barraquinhas como esta, perto do estacionamento.

There are no peddlers like in Brazil. Just a few tents like this, near the parking lot.

Inchydoney também é um bom lugar para a prática de Surf, tem até uma escola:

Inchidoney Beach ostenta orgulhosamente  a certificação internacional The Blue Flag, certificação esta que é dada a praias que seguem rigorosos critérios como a qualidade da água, segurança, prestação de serviços e educação ambiental. A The blue Flag é almejada por centenas de praias do mundo pois ela é um símbolo de qualidade e altos padrões ambientais.

Inchidoney Beach proudly exhibits The Blue Flag international certification, which is given to the beaches which follow rigorous criteria like the quality of the water, safety available services and environmental education. The Blue Flag is aspired by hundreds of beaches around the world because it is a symbol of quality and high environmental standards. 

A cidade mais próxima de Inchydoney é Clonakilty, muito acolhedora e que não pudemos conhecer muito bem mas que merece uma boa visita. 

Inchydoney's nearest town is Clonakilty, very welcoming, which we were not able to get to know very well, but which deserves a longer visit.


CULTURE NIGHT

Todos os anos acontece em Cork um evento chamado Culture Night. Serão mas de 200 eventos realizados em 100 lugares! Há todo tipo de apresentações culturais, shows, cinema, teatro, etc. E tudo com entrada gratuita.
Este ano o Culture Night será no dia 19 de setembro.

Every year it is held in Cork an event called Culture Night. There will be more than 200 events held in 100 places! There are all types of cultural presentations, shows, cinema, theatre, etc. And all with free entrance.
This year the Culture Night will be on September 19th.
