St. Patrick´s Day 2016

O Dia de São Patrício é uma festa em que se celebra o orgulho de ser irlandês. E que se comemora no mundo inteiro! Tanto é que uma das frases mais célebres durante a data é: "somos todos irlandeses no dia 17 de março".

St. Patrick's Day is a festival in which the pride of being Irish is celebrated. And it is celebrated all around the world! One of the most remembered quotes during the date is: "we are all Irish on March 17th".

Um dos pontos altos é o desfile que ocorre em praticamente todas as cidades irlandesas. Este ano o principal tema foi o centenário do Easter Rising, movimento que lutou pela independência do país.

One of the highlights is the parade whick takes place is basically all Irish towns. This year the main theme was the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising, movement who fough for the country's independence.
We followed the parade here in Cork and we will show you how it was. To start the day, we had the Shamrock Shake, mint flavor.

Nas ruas a clima era de muito festa e alegria!

Na Grand Parade havia muitas barraquinhas de comida típica e artesanato. E também um palco com apresentações musicais.

On the streets the mood was for much party and happyness!
On Grand Parade there were many typical food and handcraft stalls. There was also a stage with musical presentations.
