E o Verão Chegou! - And the Summer Arrived!
Até compramos um pequeno ventilador!
Nesta época do ano ocorrem os grandes festivais e eventos ao ar livre. A gente foi ao Taste Of Dublin (evento culinário que acontece uma vez por ano num parque). Veja algumas fotos:
After May being a little disappointing and with very low temperatures the summer has finally arrived in June. The temperatures went up and it didn't rain much!!! We were able to start wearing light clothing like skirts, shorts and T-shirts.We even bought a small fan!
On this time of the year big festivals and outdoor events happen. We went to Taste Of Dublin (culinary event which happens once a year in a park). Look at some photos:
And we also went to the Irish Open, European Golf championship which happened in a resort here in Cork.Aliás o motivo de termos dado uma diminuída nos posts do blog é justamente porque viajamos um pouco. Nesta época do ano a Europa inteira viaja!
Aeroportos, vôos, hotéis lotados até setembro. Mês em que os estudantes voltam às aulas.
Então se pretende viajar nos meses de julho e agosto se programe bastante.
But of course, don't think it is a Brazilian summer. The temperatures generally vary between 20 and 10 degrees Celsius. Sometimes it raises a little, but it rarely happens. For those who like pleasant temperatures it is a delicious summer. Because you can do all the nice summer things , like going to the parks, have ice creams, take walks with light cloths, but without melting down!!!We spent a few days in Nice (France), and there the hot weather is deadly!!!
By the way, the reason why we slowed down the posts on our blog is exactly because we travelled a little. At this time of the year all Europeans are travelling!
Airports, flights, busy hotels until September. Month the students return to classes.
So if you intend to travel on the months of July and August, make a good planning.
Let's have a look on what happened at Welcome to Ireland in June?
As usual, we started the month talking about the weather here in Ireland. Here.
We took a walk on the largest park in Europe which is in Dublin. Here.
We learned about the music of James Vincent McMorrow. Here.
We went for a stroll on the streets of Cork. Here.
And we tasted a typical Irish dish. Here.
