A Irlanda tem interessantes acidentes geográficos como os Cliffs (penhascos) e Heads (cabos) que se trata de uma massa de terra que se estende pelo oceano. No condado de Cork há o Mizen Head (126 Km de Cork City e 380 Km de Dublin) que é um incrível lugar onde a natureza se apresenta de forma impressionante.

Ireland has interesting landforms such as the Cliffs and also the Heads (or Capes), which are a mass of land extending until the ocean. On County Cork there is Mizen Head (126 Km from Cork City and 380 Km from Dublin) which is an interesting place where the nature is presented in an impressive way.

Para ir até Mizen Head carro é a melhor opção já que não há ônibus que cheguem até lá.
Há um centro de visitantes com restaurante onde você poderá comer fish and chips, sopas, sanduíches ou alguma torta.  Na área externa tem um pequeno playground e mesas para picnics.

Going by car Mizen Head is the best option, once there are no buses getting there.
There is a visitor centre with restaurants where you can have fish and chips, soups, sandwiches or some kind of pie. On the outdoor area there is a small playground and picnic tables.

Em Mizen Head havia um farol que se manteve em funcionamento até 1992. Hoje você poderá encontrar um museu com os aparelhos que eram usados e informações sobre o dia-a-dia dos faroleiros.
Há muitas escadas então a mobilidade para quem tem problemas de locomoção pode ficar limitada.

In Mizen Head there was a lighthouse which was operational until 1992. Today you can find a museum with the devices used on the period and information about the lighthouse Keepers day by day.
There are many steps so the mobility for those with difficulties to walk can be limited.

Se o dia estiver ensolarado, as paisagens vão ser realmente espetaculares. Nós já chegamos a ir mas não entramos por que o tempo era tão chuvoso que não se via quase nada.

If the day is sunny, the landscape will be amazing. We have already gone there once but didn't get in because the weather was raining so much we couldn't see much.

Você vai passar também pela Mizen Bridge, que liga 2 penhascos do cabo! As fotos não conseguem reproduzir a magnitude da beleza.

You will also go through the Mizen Bridge, which connects the 2 cliffs on the head! Pictures can't translate the magnitude of the beauty.
