2016: Feriados na Irlanda - Bank Holidays in Ireland

Ainda estamos em janeiro, mas já é hora da gente ir se preparando para os feriados de 2016! 

Quanto antes nos organizarmos para esses merecidos dias a mais de descanso, tanto melhor.

Lembrando algumas particularidades dos feriados na Ilha Esmeralda: 

 - Os feriados são chamados de Bank Holidays.

- Quase todos os feriados (a não ser St Stephen, Natal, Ano Novo e St Patrick) sempre vão ser numa segunda-feira. 

 - Em alguns feriados não se festeja nem se comemora absolutamente nada, são apenas feriados.

The more we get organized for those so deserved resting days, the better.

Just reminding some particularities on the holidays on the Emerald Island:

 - Holidays are always called Bank Holidays.

- Almost all holidays (except for St Stephen, Christmas, New Year's and St Patrick) will always be on a Monday. 

 - In some holidays you don't celebrate anything, they are just holidays...

O primeiro grande feriado do ano vai ser no dia de St Patrick,  17 de março, e vai cair numa quinta-feira.  Para saber um pouco mais sobre a data clique aqui, aqui, aqui , aqui e aqui. 

No dia 25 de março, vai ser Sexta-feira Santa. Mas é um dia de trabalho normal aqui na Irlanda, ao contrário de muitos outros países. Por outro lado no dia 28 de março, é o feriado de Easter Monday, onde na Irlanda é lembrado o Levante de 1916, movimento que lutou pela independência do país.

São feriados as primeiras segunda-feiras do mês de maio, dia 2 e junho dia 6.

A primeira segunda-feira de agosto também é feriado, que neste ano cai no dia primeiro.

The first big holiday in the year will be on St Patrick's Day,  March 17th, and it is going to be on a Thursday.

On march 25th, it is going to Good Friday. But it is a regular working day here in Ireland, much different from several other countries.

On the other hand, on march 28th is the Easter Monday holiday, where in Ireland is remembered the 1916 Rising, movement who fought for the country's independence.

We have as holidays the first Mondays on the month of May (May 2nd this year) and June (June 6th this year).

The first Monday of August is also a holiday, which this year falls on August 1st.

Em outubro o feriado cai na última segunda-feira do mês, que em 2016 será no dia 31 coincidindo com o Halloween.
