O Inverno mais rigoroso dos últimos 100 anos / The Worst Winter in 100 Years
As temperaturas cairam. Mas não a chegou a fazer muito frio. Não foi preciso ligar o aquecedor de casa nenhum dia.
Tivemos uma noite de tempestade, com raios e trovões, coisa muito rara por aqui.
The weather in October was radically different when we compare to September. We returned to the old and usual Irish weather...Temperatures have fallen down. But it didn't get very cold. Is has not been necessary to turn on the heater at home any day.
We had one night with storms, bringing thunder and lightening, something very rare around here.
Tivemos até alerta metereológico do furacão Tropical Gonzalo, o que trouxe ventos bastante intensos!!!
Às 17:30 está praticamente de noite.
Several days were very rainy, and we have already started to see the sand bags in front of houses and stores.We even had a weather alert for the Gonzalo Tropical Hurricane, which brought very intense winds!!!
At 5:30 PM it is night time already.
Temperatures went down dramatically when we moved into the current month. But we will be taking about November in the near future. The newspapers are publishing articles about the approaching winter. According to specialists, it is coming the worst winter in the last 100 years. With temperatures much lower than average and many snow storms. Ano passado também saiu notícia de que o inverno já ser feio e apesar daquelas semanas tensas de muito vento e chuva em dezembro, frio mesmo não fez. Eu duvido que esse ano será pior que o inverno de 2010!

O inverno de 2010 dizem que foi tenso mesmo!!!!
O inverno tem sido mais frio agora em dezembro, mas nao esta sendo tanto quanto eles previram. Estes dias vi alguns campos em parques branquinho as 8 da manha, e o chao estava com um pouquinho de gelo, mas nem precisei usar os meus clippers para o calcado para pode andar no gelo. Mas ainda tem inverno pela frente e pode esfriar mais.
