Quando a gente completou 1 ano de Irlanda vimos que já tínhamos visitado 10 condados e incontáveis cidades irlandesas.
E a melhor maneira de conhecer este fascinante país quando você viaja é se hospedar nos inúmeros Bed & Breakfast espalhados por todos os recantos do país.

When we reached our first year mark in Ireland, we noticed we had already visited 10 counties, and uncountable Irish towns. And the best way to get to know this fascinating country when you travel is by staying in the several  Bed & Breakfast spread in all corners on the country.

Você vai ficar em estabelecimentos bem familiares. A familia fez algumas reformas em grandes casas e adaptou alguns quartos para receber hóspedes. Geralmente a familia mora ali também e a sensação que você tem é a de que está chegando à casa de alguma tia que não vê a muito tempo. A recepção é simpática e amigável com um sorriso no rosto. Sempre dão informações sobre pontos turísticos e lugares para visitar por ali perto.

You will be staying in family owned properties. The family made a few renovations in big houses and adapted some bedrooms to receive guests. Usually the family also lives there, and the feeling is that you are arriving at the house of an aunt  which you haven't seen for a while. The reception is nice and friendly, with a smile on the face. They always give information about touristic spots and places to visit nearby.

Os quartos são geralmente simples e muito limpos.
Sempre está ali a chaleira elétrica para chás e cafés.
Como não é um hotel, combine sempre horários de chegada e coisas do tipo. Nem pense, por exemplo, em chegar bêbado às 4 da manhã.....hehehhe.

The rooms are usually simple and very clean. You always have a kettle for tea and coffee. Once it is not a hotel, always agree arrival time and things like this. Don't even think about, for instance, arriving drunk 4 AM hehehe... 

O ambiente que você vai encontrar é bem familiar.
The environment you will find is very family related.

O horário do café-da-manhã é normalmente combinado previamente. E funciona da seguinte forma: há alguns cereais, frutas e iogurtes na bancada. À mesa são servidos o café, suco, o leite e as torradas.

The time for the breakfast is usually previously agreed. And it works following way: there are some cereal, fruits and yogurts in a desk. And to your table are served the coffee, juice, milk and toasts.

Outro tipo de Bed & Breakfast que você vai encontrar são os que ficam acima de PUB´s. Ali o clima é totalmente diferente. Normalmente o rapaz que serve as pints é que te mostra onde vai ser o seu quarto. Não deixa de ser uma experiência muito interessante também e totalmente irlandesa. Se você precisar fazer uma refeição ou quiser acompanhar uma apresentação de música ao vivo é só descer as escadas!

Other type of Bed & Breakfast you will find are the ones that are located above PUBs. The environment there is totally different. Usually the person who serves the pints is the one who will show you the room you will be staying. It is also a very interesting experience and totally Irish. If you need to have a meal, or if you want to watch a live music presentation, you just have to go downstairs!
